Day 2: NOV 11/ ROME

This morning you will discover Imperial Rome. Paul wrote to the Christians of Rome and he eventually went there where his ministry continued, although he was technically a prisoner. You  will experience the g l o r y of Imp er i a l Ro me w hen yo u v i s i t the Coliseum, famous as a place of spectacle and death. Gladiators died here as  thousands  looked on.  See the Circus Maximus, built during the  reign of Nero. This huge stadium was  able  to seat 250,000 spectators for chariot races and other spectacles. See the Roman Forum, an ancient meeting place, market place, religious and political centre. View the Arch of Titus that commemorates Titus’ conquest of Judea. You’ll visit the Mamertina Prison, where it is believed that both Peter and Paul were imprisoned. Dinner and overnight in Rome. Day 3: NOV 12/ ROME

You’ll discover the Vatican Museum, home to many of the world’s masterpieces. Enter  the  Sistine Chapel and view Michelangelo’s frescoes, which have been restored to their full, colorful glory. Tour St. Peter’s Basilica where Michelangelo’s “Pieta” — the only work signed by the master — will be just one of many highlights. Travel along the famous Apian Way. Walk through the Catacombs of San Sebastiano. Visit Tre Fontane, where Apostle Paul was beheaded. Walk through Via Del Corso, Piazza de Spagnia, and enjoy the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Dinner and overnight in Rome. (B, D)


Depart the Eternal city and drive to Florence. We begin the day with a visit to the Galleria dell’ Accademia. This gallery houses painting by Florentine artists spanning 13th to 16th centuries, but its main draw is Michelangelo’s David, carved from a single block of marble when the artist was only 29. After our visit here, we see  the Duomo, with its pink, white and green marble facade, and Brunelleschi’s famous dome.  We will have some time to stop at the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) the famous 14th-century bridge, lined with gold and silversmiths. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Florence. (B, D)


Today we enjoy a full day excursion to Venice, known as “The Queen of the Adriatic”. “A unique position, the grace of her buildings, the changing colors, and not least the total absence of wheeled transport, make Venice the most charming and poetic city in the world.” Our visit begins at the Basilica of St. Mark; visit the Piazza  di  San Marco and see the Palazzo Ducale (the palace of the Doge, the political leader of the Republic of Venice). We carry on our trip driving to Florence. Dinner & overnight. (B, D)


Depart Venice and have a romantic stop at Verona, home of Romeo and Julliet. Continue to Milan and see the Great Duomo and enjoy the Shops at Galleria. Dinner and Overnight in Milan (B, D)


Depart Milan and continue drive to Lugano. Surrounded by mountains and a splendid lake, Lugano brings together all the characteristics of a metropolis of great style, despite maintaining the traits of a small city. Most particular and striking is the large pedestrian area, which contains  the historic centre, full of splendid buildings. Take a beautiful boat ride (optional) in the lake and enjoy picturesque views. Dinner and overnight in Lugano. (B, D)


Berne is a wonderfully preserved Medieval town and one of the earliest cantons to embrace the Protestant Reformation due mainly to the influence of Zwingli. Short tour through the beautifully preserved medieval Old Town. Zurich with its modern cosmopolitan district and the Auld  Stadt (old city). It was in Zurich where the Reformed branch of the Reformation got its start. Drive to Geneva for dinner and overnight.


After breakfast, depart and tour Geneva. Short  stop

at Burgundy. Burgundy opens as a fairytale while we are driving through the beautiful area to reach Switzerland, Geneva the historic city known to Protestants as the “Town of Calvin”. We begin sightseeing at St. Peter’s Cathedral, where John Calvin taught the doctrine that made him famous throughout the Protestant faith. See the Headquarters of United Nations and walk around Lake Geneva. Continue to Paris for dinner and overnight.


This morning we tour the Palace and Gardens of Versailles. This retreat of French royalty  offers sumptuous reception rooms, intriguing Hall of Mirrors and famous fountains and formal gardens. The afternoon is at leisure and dinner is at the hotel.  (B, D)

Day 11: NOV 20/ PARIS

A day of sightseeing in Paris is planned including a tour of Notre Dame Cathedral. Views of all the important sights and of course elevation to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Afterwards we enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of some of the sites of Paris, including  Invalides,  the Champs Elysees, and Eiffel Tower. The afternoon is at leisure and dinner is at the hotel.  (B, D)

Day 12: NOV 21/ PARIS

After breakfast, free time at own pax leisure.       (B)

Day   13: NOV 22/ PARIS

After  breakfast free time at own pax leisure.  (B)

Day 14: NOV 23/PARIS – DOHA

Whole morning free time for last minute shopping until transfer to the airport for return flight to Manila via Doha. (B)

Day 15: NOV 24/ DOHA – MANILA

Arrive Doha early morning and take connecting flight to Manila. Home Sweet Home!!
